WELCOME TO CYNTHIA'S OF BEND

We've been a family owned and operated business serving our local community since 1979.  Striving to give our customers the personalized and attentive experience they deserve.  We're passionate about supporting everyone on their sewing journey by providing the finest sewing products and machine care available.
Cynthia's opened their second location in Bend Oregon 1995, and eventually open multiple locations in Las Vegas Nevada.  Bill and Katie Fellows relocated to manage the Bend location in 2010 while Cynthia & Jerry operated the Las Vegas Stores.
In 2017 Bill and Katie purchased the Bend location and renamed the shop Cynthia's of Bend.  Since 2017 Cynthia's of Bend has continued to add to their product mix, adding Baby Lock & Elna.  Along with Janome, Brother & Handi Quilter, Cynthia's has the most comprehensive selection of sewing machines in all of Central Oregon.
Cynthia's of Bend is excited to offer a great selection of Cross Stitch & Needlework products.  Floss, linen fabrics, patterns as well as classes and retreats and another level of diversification to our shop.

AMERICAN SEWING GUILD MEETING - MATERIAL GIRLS

Cynthia's is now the monthly meeting location for the American Sewing Guild local chapter. There are two groups that meet. The group encompasses all types of garment sewing and embellishments from coats, jackets, blouses, and pants to leisure wear and lingerie. We sponsor sew-alongs, focusing on a single project for three or four months during the year, interspersed with presentations on Zoom or in person by well-known sewists around the state demonstrating a variety of methods and techniques to help give our finished garments a professional look and fit. We are working on improving the sustainability of our craft by repurposing existing garments and fabrics with the intent of reducing land-fill waste. We do sewing for community service organizations throughout the year. The COGS group meets from 10 am until noon on the 2nd Friday of each month except July and December.
