Sewing machine rental form for Quilter's Affair 50th anniversary, July 7th-11th 2025. Cynthia's of Bend will be providing machine rentals for classes at Quilter's Affair. Cost of rental is $45 per day. Rental signup deadline is April 15, 2025. So, you’ve taken the five Prerequisite classes, but now you want to have help applying what you’ve learned to map out a plan for quilting your quilt! Bring a fairly simple quilt to class – one on which you want to start trying out what you’ve learned. Using techniques you have already learned in the prerequisite classes, we’ll look at your quilt and offer various ideas and strategies for quilting it. If you’ve been using some of these quilting techniques already, your ideas will also be welcomed as we look at and evaluate each quilt. EVERYONE will learn as ideas are shared – which will give you knowledge for evaluating how to quilt your other FUTURE quilts!
EXPLORE THE BASIC FUNCTIONS OF YOUR SERGER. WE WILL COVER THREADING, TENSION ADJUSTMENTS FOR A VARIETY OF FABRICS, BASIC SERGING TECHNIQUES. LOCKING THREADS, INSIDE & OUTSIDE CORNERS, USING DIFFERENTIAL FEED.
