FAQ

Can you sharpen hair cutting scissors? No, We sharpen only fabric cutting scissors.

How do I know what scissors you can sharpen? Scissors that we cannot sharpen are ones that do not open up wide and are not able to be taken apart with a screw or nut. (they do not give us enough access to the blade surface).

What if you cannot get the scissors to cut after you have sharpened them? Sometimes the scissors do not cut because the blades themselves are bent or the hinge doesn't tighten enough. If your scissors to not cut properly after we sharpen them we do not charge you for the service. Cynthia's is not responsible for scissors that do not cut after sharpening.
