BEGINNING SEWING
Join instructor, Karen DeFord for fun, treats and prizes while you learn basic sewing skills.
Session 101: July 27th, 3:00pm. We will be creating a sampler of your machines stitches and making a stuffed pillow. This class will focus on cutting, pinning and sewing straight lines. Material, stuffing and thread provided. A list of basic sewing supplies will be emailed after registration.
Session 102: August 17th, 3:00pm. We will make a basic pillow case using the burrito method. This class will focus on ironing, pinning and following instructions. Fabric and thread will be provided. A list of basic sewing supplies will be emailed after registration.
Session 103: September 28th, 3:00pm. We will make a pair of basic pajama pants. This class will focus on using a pattern and following pattern instructions. Fabric and thread will NOT be provided. A list of basic sewing supplies, fabric, notions and pattern will be emailed after registration.

List of basic sewing supplies will be emailed after registration. Each student needs a sewing machine in good working order. Students will be given a 20 percent discount on supplies at Cynthia's in the week before class. Basic machines are available at Cynthia’s although discount does not apply to machines.
Class will be in the Cynthia's event center. Located next to Bend Animal Emergency in the Scandia Mall.
